Here is my card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/, where the challenge is the layout. I have doubled it up to also enter it into the Stamp Something blog challenge, this week is Thankyou, http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/. Unfortunately the colours have not come out to good, but never mind, , I think its rather pretty, I have mounted the image on 3D foam to give the card some extra dimension.

Addicted to blogs................

Well I am officially an addict! I cant leave the computer, I thought Facebook was bad, but since I discovered craft blogs, all I do is look around all day, Ive lost hours, but gained loads of great ideas, there are so many talented people out there.
I must get back to being creative and making a mess, otherwise I will look like a complete skank, for posting links all the time to every ones lovely blog candy ;)
Im currently waiting for the postman, I won a few Magnolia stamps on ebay at the weekend, so Im hoping they arrive today. Fingers crossed.

Triangle Cards

I decided to have a go at making triangle cards, I think they are fun, and look good on the mantle piece. I coloured both images from Pink Petticoat with water colour. I have tried to keep them fresh and simple, as I like this style. Unfortunatly due to todays poor lighting the colours in the picture are not as good as they are to look at in person. But never mind!!!!

2nd Card

Here is my second card, again made with a Penny Black stamp from my new stash! I love them.

My First Post

Well here I go..........................

Here is my first card, I hope you like it. I love Penny Black stamps, they are all so lovely, I was lucky to have had a small stash arrive yesterday. The large dark background is due to taking the pic late in the day, and taking it in my car! Basically, I retrieved my camera, my boyfriend who is a Royal Marine, had his medals ceremony today for his tour of duty in Afghanistan, I forgot to bring the camera home!

I have decided to be adventurous early on and enter this card into the Stamp Something blog, http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/ they to are a new blog, the theme of this weeks competition is First Somethings. As this is my first card, and first use of my lovely new stamp, I thought it rather appropraite. Its all good fun!
