Sketch Saturday Challenge

This week over at Sketch Saturday http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ the challenge is to make a card using any of the last 30 sketch's. I chose to use sketch #17.

To make, I used a Magnolia image, coloured with distress inks, mounted onto purple bazzil which was embossed using a cuttlebug folder. DCWV backing paper, ribbon from stash, a Pink Petticoat sentiment, sparkly gems and craft work cards sherbet drops.

Here's my bling!!!

Here it is - my lovely ring. Couldn't decide which pic to post so thought I would post both. Not so sure I like my hands being pictured, defiantly need to invest in a descent hand cream! lol. x

Morning all - hope to get a bit of crafting done today, but so far I've just blog hopped!!!! In the process I've come across some amazing candy which is up for grabs: In no particular order....
Over at Spiral Whisper they are giving away a set of the new release of stamps and a chance to win a set - they are super cute!
Kath has FAB blog candy but you have to be quick it finishes today. Take a look here :)

Sooooo romantic - and so exciting. Obviously I said YES, I have a lovely ring (will post a picky very soon).
I need to go back to work to have a rest - its been manic here for about the past 10 days what with one thing and another.
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas, and recieved lots of lovely pressies, ate and drank loads, and are now looking forward to some good old New Years celebrations. Have fun.

A lovely award

Vicky over at Cuddly Cards http://cuddlycards.blogspot.com/ has given me this fab award. Thank you Vicky, so very kind of you.

The rules are to give it to five others, who shall give it to five others.. You shall link the one you got it from, and also the ones you give it to:) And let them know. And there is more... You have to write down five things you are addicted to.

The 5 thing I am addicted to:

1: Lovely things to craft with.

2: Scrummy roast beef monster munch yummy - so happy they have re released this flavour - not sure my waist line agrees.

3: Diet Coke or Pepsi Max.

4: Days off.

5: Oh and the boyfriend ;) x

I am going to pass the award onto (in no particular order):

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

Cor blimey 3 post in one day........... What ever next??? I made this card earlier in the week for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. http://thesecretcraftersaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/

The image is High Hopes, coloured with pro markers, and high lighted with a gel pen, the wings coloured with shimmerz, cut out with nesties, the backing paper is K & Co, sentiment from Pink Petticoat, mounted onto bazzil cut out using a cuttlebug die, sparkly gems from my sparkly stash.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge

This weeks theme over at Cute Card Thursday http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ is any theme - so I used one of Sally-Ann's downloads available from http://grab-a-doodle-do.blogspot.com/, I coloured her with pro markers, cut out with nesties, the shimmery paper is gorgeous it came from Hobby Craft, it is lovely but didn't like being cut out with the nesties!!! Backing paper from my stash, as is the ribbon and gems.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

I have been such a bad blogger of late, all I can say is all work and no play is absolutely no fun what sooooo ever!!!! Two more shifts this week, 3 days off, play day Christmas eve, then 10 lovely day off. Total R & R, cant wait :)

This weeks challenge over at Papertake Weekly is monochromatic, here is my first ever ever attempt at monochromatic - not sure exactly that it counts due to skin and hair colour - but never mind, I love colouring these images - so much so I have a little pot of coloured cut out ones! Why I don't know......
Apologies for the blurry pic - I'm not the greatest with the camera, may have had the wrong setting plus dodgy lighting, I might start scanning cards in to see how that works. I used a cc deign download, coloured with pro markers & copics, highlighted with a sakura gel pen, stuck onto DCWV paper, I raised the wing with a 3d foam pad. Cut out the shapes with nestabilities, sentiment is studio g, gems from stash.

Another double

Two cards in a day!!!!! Must have hangovers more often! lol

Here is a card for this weeks Lili of the valley challenge - where the theme is Sprinkle & sparkle - how fantastic http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/. Love any thing that sparkles. It is also based on the sketch at this weeks I {heart 2 stamp} http://iheart2stamp.com/ technically I have not stamped anything, as the image is a download, however I am playing any way ;)
Apologies for the scewiff pic! I have used CC Design Angels download, I love these little cuties (there's not much I don't love at the mo. lol) Coloured with pro markers, high lighted with a very temperamental sakura gel pen, and loads of glamour dust added to the wing.
Image has been cut out with nesties, doodled border, gems added to sparkle and a craft work cards sentiment.

Duuble Challenge

This week over at Cute Card Thursday the theme is Lilac. I thought I had more lilac bits & pieces than I do - but never mind I got there in the end. I have used the sketch which is the challenge over at Simply Fairy's. I love this sketch and am sure to be using it again.
I have used the gorgeous Angels downloads by CC Designs, coloured her with pro markers, added glamour dust to her wings. I cut the image out with nesties, added a doodle border. The swirly paper is Pink Petticoat, its really lovely when printed onto silk paper. The circle dots are from craft work cards as is the sentiment.
Looking at teh card now, I should have run the base layer through the big shot with an embossing folder - never mind - will do next time. x
