I've been tagged............

Vicky over at Cuddly Cards has tagged me.

The rules of this tag are;
1: pick the 6th folder, and select the 6th piccy
2: post the piccy and an explanation on your blog about the piccy
3: select 6 others to do the same and let them know

Here is my pic. This was back in August this year, it was the home coming parade for 40 Commando Royal Marines, to welcome them home from Afghanistan. I added the 7th pic as well, as I could not believe a random pic actually got my boyfriend, hes the one in the front nearest in the pic. Don't they look smart??? Very proud gf! x

At last................

a post. It has been a while, but I think my crafty spare time is back (for a while), although I am on a crafting spending diet........... Since deciding to get married, its been all systems go. In a week we decided on a date, church & venue, all are now booked, and to top it off I brought the second dress I tried on! Aahhh. So now all there is to do is: lose a few pounds, tone up (use the gym membership) and arrange a few other bits and pieces - if anything is awkward or difficult it is not meant to be & I will find an alternative - happy days!!!!!!!
Anyway, I have been wanting to do this challenge since I saw it published, over at Elzybells the challenge was PINK, GREEN & BLUE. Here is what I came up with, I used a gorgeous Elzybells image, colours her with pro markers, added glamour dust to the wings (compulsory gorgeousness bling) the stars were cut using a sizzix die, backing paper is papermania, and the sentiment (Elzybells) is a brilliance dew drop pad, pink card is bazzil.

Stamp Something Challenge

Here is my card for this weeks Stamp Something Challenge, the theme is
I used my new to me Riley stamp (I won about 6 on EBay just before Christmas) and I coloured him with my new Peerless Transparent Water Colours, which are just brilliant fun to play with.
I didnt need to add much to this card, as the backing paper is gorgeous and sparkly. I have decided to go back to my original way of stating which bits & pieces I used to create each card (below the card).
Image: Riley - Hanna Stamps
Coloured: Peerless Water Colours
Sentiment: Craftwork Cards
Backing Papers: Bazzil, DCWV
Others: Nestabilities.

Elzybells sketch challenge

I really need to do something about taking scew-wiff photos, this really is a rectangular card! Have just made a new years resolution to sort this little problem out!!!!!!!!!!! It wont be an over night one tough. lol
Over at Elzybells there is a great sketch for this fortnights challenge Obviously I have used a gorgeous Elzybells image and sentiment - which I just love. Coloured her with pro markers and paper pieced her with coordinating Pink Petticoat, which are so so yummy when printed out onto silk paper. The big shimmery brown dots are craft work cards toffee treats. Gems are papermania. I added some glamourdust to the princesses crown and skirt - a princess has to sparkle after all!!!! lol. x

I Won............................ x

I am so excited, I won last weeks Sketch Saturday challenge!!!!!!!! How fantastic is that? I've told everyone I know - now I'm telling the rest of the world aaahhhh. I don't believe it - what a fab way to start the new year.
I'm now off to do this weeks sketch (amongst others!) its another great sketch - go have a peek. x
