Less is more V strictly

Here is a card I made whilst watching strictly - inspired by sequins and bling.  I shall enter it into the Less is more challenge from my own blog.    This week the theme is a sketch.  As I am not happy with how this turned out, I have another idea in mind, so intend to play along again!

I have seen this technique floating round blog land for a while and fancied giving it a go!

I stamped the Hero Arts image using Hero Arts Unicorn Hero Hues ink pad, then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.   

I thin coloured it with copics, added some sparkly gems, and used a sentiment from this MFT set.

I defo need more practice at this technique, but it was good fun,

I enjoyed making this, but did make a couple of classic school girl errors!  But it was a recent resolution to still blog made cards, and not bin them so here goes! lol

Less is more - use a stamp

is the theme this week over at Less is more, to top it off it is being sponsored by Penny Black, which is my all time favourite brand of stamp.  Talking of Penny Black, I am off to the craft show at Exeter in a couple of weeks, and am really hoping to see some of their lovely new dies that I keep seeing in blogland! 

Anyway onto this card, it may be to much, as quite a lot of the card is covered, so please delete if its not appropriate! 

I have used two Penny Black clear stamp sets, the flowers from one set and the sentiment from another!  (I will dig them back out later and edit this!) It clearly does not pay trying to have a tidy craft room! lol
