It's been a while

since I last blogged.  As always, I have made several cards and just not blogged them, again its a new resolution that I intend to change!

Here is a card I made for this weeks Less is more challenge, where the theme is Cats and/or dogs.

I have used a Penny Black stamp, coloured it with Tombow markers, and added some glitter to the bees wings.  The sentiment is from a Paper Smooches set.

Crafty clearout on ebay

I know I have not been around for a while - I have been crafting just not blogging (slapped wrist).

I am down sizing my stash considerably for the time being, so if you fancy a bargain or 2 - I have some Die-namics listed on ebay, along with stamp and die sets.  I will also be listing lots of other rubber & stash in the coming days.  Some of it is auction, and some of it is buy it now.  If your local to me, I am happy for collection.

eBay sale

Sorry I have been absent for a while, we have a lot going on here at the moment....

I have had a sort out, and am being quite ruthless.  I am putting some neglected craft stash onto eBay, some things are in the auction, others are buy it now.  Most items are brand new never used, or just used a couple of times, so if you fancy a little look, please feel free. xx

Paper piercing clouds

Still buzzing from being show cased over at Less is more (Thank you so very much again ladies) I am playing along with this weeks theme, which is: Paper Piercing.

To make this card I used Die-namics flat bottom clouds and rainbow, the sentiment stamp is from PTI.  I have paper pierced the bottom of the clouds = pleased dont rain! lol. x

Kraft and Kream

Here is a card I made for this weeks Less is more challenge, where the theme is Kraft & Kream.  I stamped a Hero Arts image onto a die cut circle, and added little cream pearls.  The image was mounted with 3d foam pads, the sentiment is from PTI.

Aaaaahhhhhh Christmas

Well I clearly do not know what I was thinking playing with snowflakes and Christmas stamps in January, but hay ho!  I made this card a couple of weeks ago for a sketch challenge, but as per usual never got around to uploading it! lol.   

I don't normally make new years resolutions - but I think I need to blog the cards I make for challenges! 

Not sure I am overly happy with the card, but I do love the snowflake and the sparkly paper, it looks better in real life, dodgy photo and bad wintery lighting does not help!  Roll on the summer.

Here is a quick clean and simple card I made on Saturday night (oh how my life has changed! lol I am trying to use elements of stamp sets I usually ignore or neglect, or just dont know what to do with as they are not the main image.  

The candles are from a Doodlebug birthday set.  I used copics to colour the candles and added diamond glaze to the flames.  The sentiment is from a papertrey ink stamp set.

Penny Black Social Butterfly

again!  I've had this set a while, and not used it until now, it's now one of my favorite sets! lol  So I  have defo done a bit of glitter overkill on this card!  I was at the Exeter craft fair on Thursday, and a stand had the sparkliest glitter I have ever seen, the lighting was pretty amazing on the stand, and magpie me had to have in on the sparkle!  I brought the finest grain, but by my standards its quite chunky!  It will be brilliant on Christmas projects!  (I cant believe I just said the C word!)

At the show I also brought some ink brushes, I have had some for ages and not used them, but being all inspired and all I brought more - perfectly normal right? 

I am in love with this butterfly from Penny Black, the sentiment is from Penny Black Sweet Wishes transparent set.  I am really looking forward to Monday when the new releases from Penny Black are able to be brought, although my bank card is taking a deep breath! lol

Not sure how I feel about how it turned out overall, but I enjoyed colouring the butterfly on vellum, it looks really pretty in real life! lol

I have had this Stamping Bella stamp for ages, and it's not seen ink until now! lol  I brought it to make a card for my husband who is a keen fisherman, which I have now done, however not sure what sentiment to stamp onto it, so I will leave the sentiment for now.

It's been a while.....

since I last blogged, I had a lovely blogging break over Christmas and the New Year, and feel slightly refreshed, and looking forward to spending more time playing in my lovely lil craft room.

This is a new set I brought from Papertrey Ink, that I had wanted to use for ages, I love the die, its so much fun.
