Great news

I'm back on the DT at My Mum's Craft Shop.  I'm sooooooooooooooooo chuffed, thank you very much for having me back.

The theme this week is

THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Here is my card, it looks a bitwashed out, IRL it is really vibrant!!!

The image is Wild Rose Studio, coloured with promarkers.  Ther paper is a sheet from First Edition - Spring Drop.   The sun and cloud are Die-namics dies, and the flowery die is from Memory box.  There are also a couple of sparkly gems from my stash on the flowers which I have cut out and attached with 3d foam.

Sorry I have not been around much this week, I have a fab crafty excuse, I have a new crafty baby.  I will post a pic later. xx

Here is a great lil quick card, made using die-manics and a cuttlebug embossing folder, the DSP is lovely doodlebug.

Loving my craft room

and being on leave, it has given me a chance to have a good old sort outand clear out the old, and spend a small fortune on new stash! Is it bad to want every cutting die there is?! lol Well I've not got to grips with the new blogger layout, and I am not the greatest with technology, I will keep trying. I made this card over a week ago for the My Favourite Things Challenge, but never got round to blogging it. I really enjoyed paper piecing the MFT a la modes lady, so much so, I might have a couple more en route! Lili of the valley

What a lovely sunny day it is here in Somerset today, hope its just as lovely where you are. Before I go on, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to message me and welcome me back, I will get round to you all I promise. In my abscence I have not given up crafting completely, I have actually had a really nice time crafting away, meeting some lovely people, and making crafty friends. I became a Stampin Up demonstrator (I still am) life, work and everything wlse just kind of got in the way a bit, but now things have settled down, I have more time to craft again in this way. I have missed all my fave brands, and am looking forward to playing with my stash new and old, and visiting lots of lovely blogs, and f course enterig the challenge, saying that I've already not got round to entering a couple of cards I made for specific challenges ! lol... I'm back

It's been a while since my last post!
But I am now back and in a much happier place, and already back crafting, albeit I've not blogged anything. Lots and lots has happened in recent months and now we have exciting things to look forward to.

I am looking forward to visiting all my old fave blogs, and meeting new crafty blogging buddies.

My Mum's Craft Shop - Fab n funky

It's Wednesday again, which means a new challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop.

To make this card, I used one of my old stamps from The Greetings Farm, coloured with promarkers, I put diamond glaze on her glasses. All the papers are lime twist, the butterflies are mather stewart punches.

Charisma Cardz DT - Sunshine Colours

Morning, Thursday again - already, which means a new challenge over at Charisma.
This week the theme is SUNSHINE COLOURS, we would love to see your creations, as always there are some fantastic prizes.









Initially I lost my mojo for this challenge, but after a lot of thought and a good old rumage or mess making, I found these small craftwork card blanks, and routed round the Penny Black box and came up with these, I got a bit carried away and made loads! Some dont currently have sentiments on as I thought they would be good in case of emergenct and I can add on something suitable. I made a batch of thankyous to send out from Emmie for her birthday presents.
I heat embossed them, water coloured them, then added some glamour dust to the stamens.

Evening, or morning. What a day, I never thought my shift would end today! Here is a quick card I made donkey's ago, and just found. As it happens it fits this weeks Less is more challenge, where the theme is circles.
All the prosucts are from Stampin Up, and theres is not a strand of glitter in sight!

Aaaahhhh is blogger just doing it's own thing at the mo? Or am I just being special?! lol. I am trying to leave comments I promise, but my patience is fading rapidly! Oh well, I hope they can fix it soon.

I love these stamps, they are by the very talented Marion Emberson, I do love watching her on QVC, she is so clever and has a great personality.
