Arty Girlz Challenge.

Here is a card I have made using a lovely image sent to me by Vicky at Cuddly Cards in a swap. I love this image, I might just have to buy the stamp, he is so cute.

I coloured the stamp with watercolours then went over it with stargazers in the darker blue areas, and the white icing on the cake and plate, it gives it a lovely shimmer.

Friday Sketcher Challenge

Along time, no blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This week has been so crazy, I cant believe its Friday again tomorrow. Here's a quick card I put together based on the Friday sketchers sketch. I love the more simple basic sketch's, I think it is more my style. I used primsas and sansador to colour bella, and added some sparkle to the icing on the cake. Card Positioning Systems Challenge

I've stumbled across another challenge, the Card Positioning Systems Challenge blog. http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/ the challenge is a layout. I got out my new Penny Black stamp again, stamped it several times, and coloured each image with a different colour. I love the orchid pink colour that I used in the image, the stitching in the middle of the ribbon is exactly the same colour as the ribbon, how often does that happen?! ;)

Quadrouple Challenge..........

Here I go again!!!!!!!!! I've managed to do 4 challenges in one with this card!!!!!

Firstly the Tilda and Co challenge was a great sketch, I used my new to me image, which I love. http://magnoliachallengeblog.blogspot.com/2008/06/26-sketch-this.html

Whilst making this card I realised I have put away my existing Christmas stamps somewhere safe, I wanted to stamp a sentiment across the bottom, and heat emboss it with sparkly or glossy poeders. So as soon as I find my stash (hopefully this afternoon, I feel a mission coming on!) I will add it.

I used prismas and sansador to colour the image, and glamour dust to add sparkle to the wings, and a lovely snowflake brad I brought recently as they were a bargain at the local craft shop. :)

Here is my card for the Friday Sketcher Challenge. I love my Penny Black stamps, and prima flowers. I coloured the image with water colours. I added some small gems, had to have a bit of sparkle on there somewhere. lol

Another double challenge

Here is a card I made for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, and Cute Card Thursday Challenge.

This week the Penny Black theme is pink, brown & green. I used my newest Penny Black stamp, I water coloured it, added some good old stickles to the middle of the flowers. I ran some white card through a cuttlebug embossing folder and rubbed some metallic pink brilliance ink over it. I also ran the darker pink card through the swiss dots embossing folder, as the card was white in the middle I rubbed the tops of the dots off.
