My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Red, white & blue

It's Wednesday again - already, I don't know where the time is going!  Over at My Mum's Craft Shop this week the theme is:

RED, WHITE & BLUE

we would love to see what you create, there is loads of inspiration for this theme around at the mo with Jubilee Weekend almost upon us and the up coming Olympics so come and join us.

We also have as always a fantastic prize to give away.

Well my fat swollen fingers are not liking colouring at the mo.... so I made a felt heart!  Please don't laugh toooooooooooooo loud! This was my first attempt (loving my sewing machine at the mo).

I cut the felt hearts out using nesties, the ribbon is from my stash and the button is from papermania.  It didn't take that long to make, I am looking forward to making more in a variety of colours, as they are such good fun.

Hope the sun is still shining wherever you are. xxx

Morning, well it's Wednesday again, which means its a brand new challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop.

This week the theme is a recipe: 3 flowers, 2 papers & 1 ribbon, we would love to see your interpretations of the challenge.

To make the card I used Die-namics vertical die and stamp and die set.  I stamped the sentiment with teal versa mark, and embossed it with clear embossing powder, the flowers I made using a die-namics die, and the papers are Isabelle by First Edition, the brads are papermania - which I have had forever!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew: Dimension.
Crafty Pad: Bingo - Ribbons/flowers/Bling pearls/gems.
Cas-ual Fridays: Punchy (Punches/dies).
Cute Card Thursday: Touch of sparkle.
Paper Playtime: Say it with sentiments.

Two more at less is more

What a lovely sunny day it is here in sunny Somerset today, its so lovely to see the sun, I had forgotten what it looks like! lol
Well last nigh I made a couple of cards for 2 very special lil people.  I met them and their Mums whilst my lil girl was in special care having been born too soon - we were all long stayer's!  And we are all still in touch, and hopefully friends for life.
Well the birthdays are starting to roll round - so here are two I made.
Both the card were using Die-namics number die - I have cut the die up so they are no longer all connected, the star is from the die-namics set used in the previous post.  The sentiments are from my stash, the blue paper is from the new oh so lush Doodlbug pad, and the pink is a strawberry sheet from DCWV Nanas stack, its lovely and sparkly.  For the pink one I also went round the edges with glamour dust for a bit of extra bit of girly sparkly bling.  The white upper level was mounted with 3d foam pads.
I would also like to enter these into:

Less is more: Baby or child
Simon Says Stamp:   Clean and simple.
Cute Card Thursday:  Touch of sparkle.
Truly Scrumptious: Anything Goes.
Thanks for stopping by.xx

Baby Girl

This week over at Less is more the theme is baby or child.  Well I could not resist using the notched tag set by Die-namics.
I used brown and pink metallic ink for the birds legs and sentiment.

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

My Mum's Craft Shop DT -

It's Wednesday again, which mans it challenge time over at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge blog.  This week the theme is:

FEELING BLUE/GET WELL

There is a fabby prize as always, so why not pop on over and join in.

Before I go onto the card, apologies for being a bad blogger I have unfortunately been without a computer due to the new one being faulty!!!!   Anyways, the replacement is looking all shiny and nice in the box, but I am feeling a bit disheartened with it at the mo, so I will get it out the box tomorrow.

I made this card a couple of weeks ago in preparation, it is based on a layout from my book of sketch's that I keep.

It is a plain blue card blank, with die cut clouds (I think I should have embossed these) the sentiment is from a My Favourite things stamp set.  The DSP is from an Echo Park pad.

Thank you for stopping by.  Hoping to blog more this week. xx

We would love to see your creations, you can use wet or dry embossing.

I have used an embossing folder and a Tim Holtz rosette die, which scored and embossed to enable the rosette to be made.

This card is for my lil brother who is 30 today.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Cards for men:  Texture
Crafty cardmakers:  For the boys.
Paper playtime:  Anything goes.
