Look what I made! xx

Sorry I have been a little more absent of late, here is what I have been doing?! Cooking! lol.....

I have been in and out of hospital for the past few weeks, which have not been so much fun, but all so worth it.

This is Archie, the new lil man in our lives, he is a week old in a few hours, and I can't imagine life without him.

So in love with my lil family, feeling very blessed. xx

My Mum's Craft Shop - DT _ Photo Insperation

We have a great theme over at MMCS this week, a fab photo to be precise, it fun, bright and colourful, and we would love to see your interpretation of it.......

As always there are also fab prizes.

Here is mine, to make it I used memento due drop ink pads in Pear Tart, and New Sprout, the pinks are Rose Bud & Lilac Posies - all available from Kitty at MMCS.

The stamp is a Penny Black cling called Dreamy and it is already a new fave among my Penny Black collection.

Please excuse my lack/slack blogging I am in and out of hospital so much at the mo I don't know if I am coming or going.  What I do know is the car could drive itself! lol and I should just buy a parking space at the hospital as it would probably cost considerably less! : S Oh well not long to go now.

Well I'm off to get some more DT cards done, as I'm hoping today's hospital visit will be one of the last! : ) wishful thinking I am sure! lol All good things come to those who wait and all that!!!

Anyway, I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Fab 'n' Funky: Cute & Girly
Totally Gorjuss:  Sweet & Simple
Allsorts:  In Bloom
Creatalicious:  Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly:  Anything Goes.

My Mum's Craft Shop - DT - About the boys

I'm so so sorry for being soooooooooo late in posting this - I do have a very good reason for being late!!!  I've been in hospital - not many of you will know we are due to have a baby in 4 weeks, as our lil girl was born so early we are considered to be high risk!  We have gone way past the time she was born, but non the less we cant count our chickens just yet.  So I had a few days in hospital watching all these lovely ladies come in, and go through to have their baby's.

Anyway because of all the dramas this week, I am late in posting (SO SORRY) the theme over at My Mum's Craft Shop is:

ABOUT THE BOYS

Well what better excuse to get out my shiny new Die-namics stamp and die combo set called Let's Toast - I can see this set getting used loads, for allsorts of occasions.

Sorry the photos are a bit pants - dies are so fab when you have fat swollen fingers!  As grateful as I am to be pregnant, I am looking forward to having some feeling back in my right hand and being able to colour again : )

Well that's enough moaning from me - I'm so pleased to be home.

I would also like to enter this into:

I am not really a scrapbooker, but I thought I would give it a go.  I find the 12 x 12 size quite intimidating, I think this is 8 x 8.

I love the alphabet letters, they are Die-namics die, the stamps are a Stampin Up set, I also used a nestie die, and when if ever I am happy with a pic of myself, I will put one of me and hubby in the nestie space!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Secret Crafter:  Anything Goes.
Moving along with the times: Anything but a card.
Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes.

Two more at less is more

What a lovely sunny day it is here in sunny Somerset today, its so lovely to see the sun, I had forgotten what it looks like! lol
Well last nigh I made a couple of cards for 2 very special lil people.  I met them and their Mums whilst my lil girl was in special care having been born too soon - we were all long stayer's!  And we are all still in touch, and hopefully friends for life.
Well the birthdays are starting to roll round - so here are two I made.
Both the card were using Die-namics number die - I have cut the die up so they are no longer all connected, the star is from the die-namics set used in the previous post.  The sentiments are from my stash, the blue paper is from the new oh so lush Doodlbug pad, and the pink is a strawberry sheet from DCWV Nanas stack, its lovely and sparkly.  For the pink one I also went round the edges with glamour dust for a bit of extra bit of girly sparkly bling.  The white upper level was mounted with 3d foam pads.
I would also like to enter these into:

Less is more: Baby or child
Simon Says Stamp:   Clean and simple.
Cute Card Thursday:  Touch of sparkle.
Truly Scrumptious: Anything Goes.
Thanks for stopping by.xx

I used brown and pink metallic ink for the birds legs and sentiment.

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

My Mum's Craft Shop DT -

It's Wednesday again, which mans it challenge time over at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge blog.  This week the theme is:

FEELING BLUE/GET WELL

There is a fabby prize as always, so why not pop on over and join in.

Before I go onto the card, apologies for being a bad blogger I have unfortunately been without a computer due to the new one being faulty!!!!   Anyways, the replacement is looking all shiny and nice in the box, but I am feeling a bit disheartened with it at the mo, so I will get it out the box tomorrow.

I made this card a couple of weeks ago in preparation, it is based on a layout from my book of sketch's that I keep.

It is a plain blue card blank, with die cut clouds (I think I should have embossed these) the sentiment is from a My Favourite things stamp set.  The DSP is from an Echo Park pad.

Thank you for stopping by.  Hoping to blog more this week. xx
