10% off celebration.

To celebrate Christmas, New Year along with the fact we have sold our house and had an offer accepted on another :)

I am in the mood for some serious celebrations, so I thought I would share the fabbiness of this.

So I am offering a brilliant 10% off all Stampin Up! orders placed through me between now and 31/01/10.................

So if you want to treat yourself or someone else why not get an order in.

I will be placing an order on Monday 14/12/09, if you live local and can collect there will be no postal charge - however if postage is required it will be 5% of your order. I think this is the fairest way to do the postage as it means if you only want something small and light - postage does not break the bank!

All orders welcome big or small.

This is an offer I an offering not a Stampin Up! promotion.

Punches

Evening, second post of the day - had a great time this morning, met some really lovely ladies and a gent, we were a right mixed bunch, there was a lady in the craft class this morning who was celebrating her 88Th birthday today - I hope I can still craft when I am her age.

I booked myself into the last class before Christmas which is next Sat - so looking forward to that one!

This card was easy and fun to make, I am trying to be as versatile as poss with my Stampin Up loveliness. Whilst blog hopping this eve - I came across a challenge Crazy 4 Challenges, this weeks theme is PUNCHES, I used a Mather Stewart punch for the grass, and two other Stampin Up punches for the circles and the sentiment. I love the bold bright colours from Stampin Up, they are so fresh and clean.

P.S Gino 2 win. x

Thank you

Morning, what a great Thursday this is, my long awaited step brothers IVF baby was born yesterday - I cant wait to meet her. And we brought a house! New house new baby and all! lol Not sure that saying is meant for separate people - but we can keep it in the family!
To top it off I have 4 days off - I'm off to a Tim Holtz ink craft class at the local craft centre in a mo then a spot of Christmas shopping, hope to have it all done before the end of the weekend! Bring it on. I love shopping but not at Christmas........................
Here is a quick card I made a couple of days ago, Im putting samples together for when I start doing SU parties! (So exciting)
I have entered this card into this weeks Stamp Somethings Challenge - the theme is Thank you.

Anyone For Anya GDT

I cant believe the second week as GDT over at Anyone For Anya has rolled round already :( Oh well, here is my card, the colours are not quite what they look here IRL - rubbish winter dark days - roll on the summer.
I just wanted to say a huge thanks to Dawny P for having me on the GDT - I was so chuffed to be asked and have had a great time. I will be back playing as normal next weekend. x

Stamp with us

Think I may be a tad too many mins late for this weeks challenge - but never mind, thought I would still enter it anyway! Today has been one of those days where I should not have made any plans! Finally got in just before midnight and Ive not even been to the pub and its a Saturday night! lol

Anyway this card is for Stamp with Us challenge - as I have a newly found love of Stampin Up things I thought it would be rude not to enter.

This weeks theme was 1 stamp, 2 papers, 3 brads. I have used old olive papers ink and card.

Anyone For Anya GDT

I can finally share my up most chuffed ness (quality English lol) I was on my honeymoon in Mexico when I found out I had won a spot as a GDT member on the Anyone For Anya GDT - today is my first week. I am so excited I know its daft but hay ho! :)

Here is my card - this weeks theme is:

MAKE A FAKE

anything fake, or faux if you are posh, on your cards this week. You could use a border punch to create fake lace, or do a bit of faux stitching or faux flowers.

I used my doily punch for faux lace, a flower punch and some sparkly gems!

its weird making a card for a challenge and not entering it! lol.

Hope your all having a lovely weekend, I'm off to my bezzies Virgin Vie party later, which will be lovely, but in good old Sunday style have just watched a bit of QVC whilst channel hopping and Bobbi Brown was on - I love Bobbi Brown, I tried it earlier this year and have never looked back, I wore it for my wedding and it felt amazing. Needless to say I just parted with a few pennies! Oh well - looking forward to the postie arriving. x

Quick and cute

............... is this weeks theme over at My Time To Craft. Which I thought was great, so after having a little thinky, I got out my new cuttlebug snowflake die, and started cutting snowflakes out of glitter card (lovely glittery sparkle, I got covered! lol).
I loved making these small cards, these ones remind me of when I was at school many moons ago lol, and it was cool to give out tiny Christmas cards.

All that aside Im so proud of me getting some Christmas cards done already, I might just make a few more like these. I think they will look quite nice twinkling away in the dark Christmas nights to the glow of the fire! - We put the fire on for the first time last nigh as it was freezing, I'm looking forward to the summer again already, lol.
The team over at My Time To Craft is also having a DT call if your interested pop on over.

To make these cards I used:
Cuttlebug snowflake die, plain card stock, nestabilities, doodlebug stamp 'Let it snow', glitter card, papermania brads, sparkly gems.

A card at last

Hello, hope you are all well, Ive had a nasty virus this week, so much so, the doctors tested for all sorts of things which just made me think of all me ailments even more - I don't go to the doctors unless I'm climbing the walls - have a daft phobia of needles! lol. Since I was properly ill last year its just been one thing after another - so I'm determined once this has gone, that is that - no more poorlieness.

Anyway - I have at last a card, hoping the awol mojo returns asap. lol

This card is for this weeks Sketch & Stash challenge, which is a theme, and also for ABC Challenge which is currently at F for Flying.

I love this Penny Black image its so cute, I coloured it with my ink spots which I had to dust off - I forgot how much I love them, they are so easy to use :)

Oh before I forget Kipling is on QVC, was naughty and brought a bag lol.......

To make this card I used:
Image: Penny Black.
Papers: Pink Petticoat.

I feel like my feet have not touched the ground, life is whizzing by, but hope to be back again later, I went to the big craft fair at Exeter on Sunday with the girls, so I have some yummy new stash, and 'he' or should I say hubby (still feels weird saying that) is away with work tonight - so I can be as messy as I like, and the dog can supervise!

Elzybells Casing.................

Over at Elzybells the challenge is to find a card by Elizabeth or any DT member that you particularly like / inspires you and recreate it putting your own spin on it!

Well, I popped over to Michelle's blog, and found this card and recreated it, just changed the colour and some very very minor bits. I love Michelle's blog, I think her work is totally inspiring, her clean and simple style is right up my street.

I have had the image coloured for ages - so it was lovely to put it to use.

It seems far to soon to be making Christmas cards, it cant be coming round already?! I think if I don't make them, it wont happen! lol

Anyway to help prepare Penny Black Saturday Challenge this weeks theme is Christmas.

The pic isn't very good - dodgy dark nights creeping in, and once one light bulb goes they all seem to go, and we've run out! This was the best of a bad bunch. lol

I think this is one of my all time fave Penny Black stamps, I have put some glitter on it but you cant see it, never mind hay?! I coloured it with marvy pens.

Home again......

Hello to you all, firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who left lovely good luck, congratulations and well wishes on my blog in relation to my wedding, so kind of you all we had a brilliant time and have just returned from Mexico.

Mexico was amazing, its up there on my must return to list, above is a pic of the view from our balcony - we were spoilt. Every thing about Mexico was amazing, we even swam with whale sharks - which was just brilliant - a definite once in a lift time experience. The whale sharks were amazing, so big, beautiful and peaceful, there markings were amazing. There must have been over 100 of them swimming around.

I am looking forward to getting crafty - I cant believe I missed it whilst away - so hopefully I will be quite productive once tonight comes round.

In the mean time - I'm am sorting out my house which I rent out the latest scum bag tenant trashed it - stole the rugs and didn't pay £1500 rent, along with just about every other bill there is to pay - so before the wedding I shut the door had the locks changed and decided to sort it out when I get back. Its a right mess and he was only there a few months - I don't know how some people can live like they do. However its not all bad - its only a small town where we live - Ive tracked him down so will be returning his skanky abandoned sofa later - I don't consider it part payment for rent lol!

Sunday, 9 August 2009
